Yahoo overtakes Google in US web traffic

Yahoo websites attracted more US visitors than Google in July, according to the most recent internet traffic numbers.
Confounding analysts’ predictions, Yahoo sites attracted 196.6 million unique visitors last month, giving it the biggest audience of any US-based web property and overtaking Google for the first time since May 2011, according to analytic company comScore.
Yahoo’s unique visitors were up 21 per cent compared to July of last year, when it came in third behind Google and Microsoft. During the same period, Google sites, (including YouTube), attracted 192.3 million unique visitors, up less than 1 per cent.
Microsoft made third place in July, with 179.6 million unique visitors, followed by Facebook with 142.3 million and AOL with 117.4 million.
Although this is largely symbolic achievement for Yahoo, the news will be welcomed by Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, who joined in July 2012 and recently laid out the company’s plans to remodel itself in the image of Google.
In an earnings call last month, which revealed mixed results, Mayer noted that page views were rising after more than a year of declines, citing recently refreshed versions of Yahoo mail, weather, sports, news and Tumbler, both on desktop and mobile.

As I said on my last post now I will show you the way of how to create your own blog.

-First of all sign up for Gmail account if you haven't registered yet.

-After that you should click `New Blog`.

- Write the tittle and choose the domain (ex.: alvipgossip1.blogspot.com)

- Then choose your template and edit at the Layot what you want to share with others and what not.

You can customize the colors ,font and adding picture of background.

After you finish with it, you are now able to start posting and sharing your own opinion and share it on Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc.

The reasons why is good to have your own blog

Hello to everyone. Tonight I will publish the reasons why you should create your own blog.
The reason why I decided to write about this is because of my success and a little bit `fame` or `reputation`.
I remember the first month when I created my blog I had few readers and followers.
Now, I have 50% more readers and people who follow my every post.
Why it's nice to have a blog?

- First of all you can share your own opinion

- You can let your friends know about any party that will be held in any country or city

- You can inform your followers about new songs, video clip etc.

- Interviewing the singers by writing them on their official profiles on Facebook or meeting them and telling about your blog.

- Having blog makes you being interesting in a lot of things that are currently happening, so you analyse things and you get a lot of information (ex. about new mobile phones, new cars ,new technology, best way of preparing an CV letter etc.)

So, these are not all the advantages of having your own blog of course but I want to inspire you of having one.
