European Football Federation (UEFA), shorten the list of competitors for the award for best player last season to just three.
On the smaller circle remained only Lionel Messi – Barcelona, his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo – Real Madrid, and the french Franck Ribery – Bayern Munich last year Champions League winner.
