Hours after the several members of the British press splashed their dailies with gossip that Cristiano Ronaldo is refusing to stay at Real Madrid past 2015, contrary evidence has been produced by Spanish outlet Cadena COPE claiming the opposite is in fact true.
According to Cadena COPE, Cristiano Ronaldo has preliminary agreed to extend his Real Madrid contract until 2018.
The report claims that the Portuguese superstar has agreed to extend his current Real contract by another three years, despite a sensational approach from an unnamed French side for his services.
This unnamed Ligie 1 side, who could only potentially be PSG or Monaco, are said to have offered Ronaldo 17 million euros a season in a four year deal. In addtion, Ronaldo would have received a 50 million euro signing on bonus too.
