The head of marketing at Apple, Phil Schiller , the court accused Samsung of stealing five patents that significantly harm the reputation of the company.
The court Schiller appeared as a witness in the dispute between the two tech giants , and the judge said that the South Korean company moves causing damage to Apple 's reputation as an innovator .
Apple's damages were paid a billion dollars last year after the jury decided that in several cases Samsung violated patent laws .
U.S. judge ordered a retrial for the assessment of damages , arguing that the first trial errors were made .
Apple claims that Samsung has to pay 379.8 million dollars for stealing five iPhone patents , but according to the judge , still not enough evidence to obtain damages .
Schiller said that Samsung copied many devices of Apple, as well as software .
Samsung offered to pay 52.7 million dollars to Apple and it finally ended the long legal battle between them .
