Greece will recognize Kosovo as a state

Former Greek Ambassador to the U.S. Alexandros Malias to students in Prizren said his country has no choice but to recognize Kosovo, Kosovo daily Koha writes ditore.

He intensified contacts between the authorities in Athens and Pristina are proof that Greece is moving toward recognition of Kosovo.

Kosovo is expected in Athens to open a liaison office, said Malias and explained that it is part of a process that will ultimately lead to a Greek recognition of Kosovo.
